We carry only top-quality
lifevests (PFD's) from Astral
Buoyancy, Extrasport, Kokata,
MTI, Stearns and Stohlquist.
Type
5 PFD's are
approved for commercial
whitewater rafting by the
Coast Guard and have a minimum
22 lbs. of buoyancy. All Type
5 rafting PFD's feature buckle
closures and flotation collar.
Type
3 PFD's are also
appropriate for rafting but
are more commonly used for
canoeing and kayaking. They
feature at least 15 1/2 lbs.
of flotation, zipper closures,
and no flotation collar. We
also carry a complete selction
of Kids
PFD's. If you
have been trained to use a
Swiftwater
rescue type PFD,
we also carry the Extrasport
Fury and Ranger.
