The Equipmat. It’s a 30" x 27" x 3/8" thick, non-skid rubber mat with a nylon fabric coating (basically, a giant mouse pad for your car). Throw it on the back of your vehicle, set the nose of your boat on the mat and give it a push. The mat is heavy enough that it won’t blow off the car except in the heaviest of winds, sticky enough on its bottom that it won’t move on the car while your sliding your boat around and smooth enough on top that your boat will slide on and off your car with ease. For divers, it’s a fantastic way to protect your swim platform from tanks, weights, abalone, etc.
P.S. if you find you need to stand or sit on the EQUIPMAT, to change out of your wetsuit and protect your feet or simply to relax, turn print-side down to avoid sand or other particles from embedding in the side that would normally be against the car when in use.
