It's sweet, classy lines, hard chines and fully rockered hull offer high primary and rather incredible secondary stability. The efficient hull configuration makes for easy paddling and good hull speed. The Skylark tracks extremely well for a short boat yet maneuvers quickly and easily. It responds instantly to sweeps and back strokes and accelerates with ease to its design hull speed of 4.7 knots. Skylark sports a rear bulkhead and hatch, adjustable seat back, retractable carrying handles, reentry bunjis on the rear deck and a six point front deck tie configuration. Additional flotation in the bow is in the form of a three inch foam pillar and the Sea Dog foot pedals are comfortable on bare feet and easy to adjust while seated in the kayak.
