Construction: Most Hypalon® rafts on the market today use fabric that has an outer coating of neoprene coated with a thin layer of Hypalon®. Avon fabric features an outer coating of all Hypalon® over a 1680 denier polyester core. The result is a stiffer, more responsive raft that out performs, tracks better and lasts longer than other Hypalon® rafts. And remember, Avons are built in a modern factory in Wales by skilled craftsmen.

New for 2006 is the SE Series of Avon Rafts. The SE Series are the same rafts as the standard line with the addition of 40oz. polyurethane (PU) fabric on the bottom layer of the floor. With the slick abrasion-resistance PU bottom chafe* and PU floor you get a raft that slides over rocks easier. And unlike spray-on coatings, this fabric can be replaced or repaired easily with Bostik 2402 Hypalon® Adhesive.
