The
15’ Expedition is another Clavey designed raft
- we took the Adventurer, added a foot to the length and 1” to the
tube diameter to make the perfect mid-size family gear rig or a great
oar assist paddle raft. Comes with thwart attachments points to accept up to four thwarts - but no thwarts.
Avon Self-Bailers have floors that sit lower than most others, allowing for more gear and/or legroom. The floors are also designed to bail more slowly, adding to the rafts stability in big water.
New SE Rafts - We’ve replaced the entire bottom of these Special Edition boats with 40oz. polyurethane fabric – not just a spray, but actual fabric. This makes your raft slide over rocks easier, more tear resistant, stiffer, lighter and because its fabric, it can be repaired or replaced with Bostik 2402 adhesive.
