A throwbag is a rescue device that has a length of rope that is stuffed loosely into a bag so it can pay out through the top when thrown to a swimmer. The bottom of the bag as a grab loop for the swimmer to hold on to. The Clavey Throwbag is a high quality mesh and cordura throwbag that is stuffed with 70' of floating 3/8" poly rope and has a strap sewn onto the bag so it can be attached to your boat. This is a great throwbag but it should not be used as s rescue rope in z-drag systems or other high tensile applications.
