River trips offer us the freedom of the wilderness but safety should always be a paramount concern. Be prepared for the worst and equip yourself appropriately. You’ll find useful items on our website to equip your trip for most contingencies. What we don’t sell is the knowledge to use these items. Take some classes in rescue and first-aid and keep practicing. Be sure to carry at a minimum, one throwbag per raft, 1 rope rescue kit (see list) , and a first-aid kit that’s appropriate for the trip size. If you want to save some trouble get the Clavey Rescue Kit. It includes all of the basics to perform boat recues - wraps, flips, ets - contained in a heavy duty Mesh Rig Bag.
