All of our models are “recreational/touring” kayaks designed for ocean and flat water paddling. Recreational Kayaks have a lot stability built into them, in what is commonly referred to as high initial and secondary stability. In plain english, this means that these boats are designed so that they cannot be tipped over easily. They also have a strong keel, in some of the Ocean Kayaks for example, you’ll find a keel built-in. This provides excellent straight-line tracking, which saves you effort.They’re just the thing for getting out on the water with your friends and family. Kayaking is a perfect low-impact fitness activity. The simplicity and stability of kayaks make them perfect for day trips, touring, birdwatching, abalone diving, fishing and much more. Unlike canoes that get blown around in the wind, kayaks sit lower in the water so they have less windage and are more stable.
