River Permit Information

  • Recreation.gov – A place to dream up your next trip, figure out the details, apply for permits and make reservations to experience most wilderness and national parks in the USA.
  • BLM Rogue Site  – This is a great site for checking on permit information and boating information.
  • Green –  Information on permits for Desolation / Gray Canyon of the Green River in Utah.

Camping On Tomales Bay

Tomales Bay is a beautiful place to kayak, surrounded by natural beauty and teeming with wildlife. It is not however a placid lake, and you should familiarize yourself with weather and tide conditions prior to your visit. We highly recommend you start you journey to camp as early as possible in the day to avoid typical afternoon winds. Please see the links in this section to assist with your plans and obtain your camping permit.
